Fleet Ilya Man

Fleet Ilya is a taboo-breaking accessories label which brings together the skill of classical training with the imagination and artistic vision of its founders.

The cult label is headed by Ilya Fleet and Resha Sharma, the former, Russian-born with training in traditional saddle-making and Resha Sharma a Central Saint Martins Graphic Design graduate from London.

Their creations for both Men and Women are encompassed by three lines: Classic, Concept and Restraint.
The classic lines of their bags all draw on a design that evokes high-end craftmanship, undercut with playfulness.

Under the influence of these two creative minds and with a spirit of true independence, the label has grown into one of the most celebrated accessories brands created in London and is now available in Australia at Fallow.

All of the materials Tobias Wistisen uses are meticulously treated by hand, ensuring that each piece is totally unique and made to the highest quality. And yet, in spite of all of this detailed precision, his work pursues a rough, aggressive, and worn aesthetic.

Metals are often subjected to aging processes, and materials are chosen for the way the change and develop personality over time. Inspiration ranges from futuristic vehicles to ancient armours, all sourced to produce a decidedly strong vision of masculinity.

Tobias Wistisen

Drawing inspiration from Yakuza body art,symbolism within secret societies and the naivety of old anatomy drawings and sketches the tattoos in the AW12 Tobias Wistisen campaign were hand drawn by makeup artist Clare Read.

'Paper Hands' Spring Summer 12/13 Collection from Song for the Mute marks the duo's debut at Mercedes Australian Fashion Week and their first serious foray into construction using uniquely structured fabrics. 

Song For The Mute is a label that is grounded in conceptual space rather than being confined to a certain aesthetic.Fabric is the foundation of the labels design,as it acts as the initial inspiration for their collections.

Fleet Ilya

Fleet Ilya was originally founded as a brand of luxury handmade restraint objects by the Russian born Ilya Fleet, who trained in traditional saddle making. The Boundries between fashion and bondage became blurred when Resha Sharma, a Central St.Martins design gruduate joined Ilya as his creative partner and wife shortly afterwards.

All of the handcrafted pieces in the range reflect Ilya's traditional craftmanship and fetish origins, combied with Resha's fashion knowledge, giving them a dark elegance. Under the influence of two creative minds and with a spirit of true independence, the label has grown into one of the most celebrated accessory labels coming out of London.

The attention to detail is superb, and all pieces are hand made in England.
